Title is a quote from Harry Martinssons essay collection Svärmare och Harkrank.

Work for Bachelor exhibition. Bricks taken from local houses that were being teared down. Mortar made of only clay and sand. Every morning during the exhibition period I fired in the oven and rearranged the setting around it. Sculptures made of stone from a local soapstone quarry.

The oven was placed outside the entrance of the school building. I wanted it to be a standing protest against the authoritarian style of the newly built schoolbuilding, a place to stance and talk with each other, and a reminder of forgotten work and material.
